You Cannot Underestimate How Meaningful

As the cold season begins to settle over the Southern Hemisphere, temperatures are dropping—and so are the hopes of the many LGBTI refugees who find themselves in subpar conditions, including makeshift shelters with nothing but thin plastic walls, tents, and if lucky, uninsulated cement rooms, between them and the biting chill.
There are no heaters, no cozy duvets, and for many, not even a single blanket. Just like we did before for some, we can change that for the many more now in need.
We are launching this new campaign to change this—to bring warmth, dignity, and hope to those who have already lost so much. But we cannot do it without your help.
Our resources are limited. Funding is stretched. Supplies are dwindling. The need far outweighs what we currently have. And yet, with your support, even one blanket can make the difference between a freezing night and a bearable one—between despair and relief. · $15 can provide a comforter to someone sleeping on bare ground. · $25 can include a mat for the ground
It is hard to explain the depth of meaning of something as simple as a blanket. In addition to the basic comfort, it is a reminder that one is not forgotten.
As the winds grow colder, let our hearts grow warmer. Join us. Wrap someone in kindness this winter.
We are trying to cover 116 LGBTI people in the immediate - and are hoping to prepare for more as the numbers continue to increase.
Please Donate now. Give warmth. Give dignity. We thank you for your kind support. Please donate HERE. |
