Ugandan Human Rights group's critical analysis of The Anti-Homosexuality Act

African Human Rights Coailtion, African HRC (AHRC) gives thanks to HRAPF, in Uganda, for the important second issue of the HRAPF Human Rights Advocate Magazine, which is most critical in focusing on an analysis of the nullified Anti-Homosexuality Act 2014.

Under the main theme 'Beyond Quorum: Why the Ugandan Anti-Homosexuality Act was unconstitutional' it examines the different aspects of the nullified law and their implications and would have been implications on human rights.

It also gives an update on the legal processes both at the Constitutional Court and at the East African Court of Justice. Edited by , Adrian Jjuuko, the Executive Director of Human Rights Awareness and Promotion Forum (HRAPF), It features articles by Prof. Joe Oloka Onyango, Dr. Stella Nyanzi, Dr. Paul Semugoma, Asia Russell, Linnette Du Toit, Francis Tumwesige, Joaninne Nanyange, Edward Mwebaza and Jenevieve Discar.

The importance of such analysis cannot be underestimated as it serves as a guide for the future - where a similar Anti-Hiomosexuality bill for introduction into the Ugandan parliament still remains an ongoing threat.

It is also in print and copies will be distributed.

It can be also be accessed from at HRAPF website at
